Do LCD TVs achieve insensible pixels after a couple years?

I've hear of that. Don't have one. Any other device resembling remote or phone displays starts to lose some sections after a year or two. That's not adequate. If true for TVs and monitors, why isn't it mentionned in reviews?

Who have experienced it?

Answer:

Well then don't but one if it is "not above-board." To be honest, usually if they don't have any limp pixels when you get them, they will most credible not get one for biddable while. But don't expect to buy one today and expect to have it working without blemish in the year 2020.
i have 1 dead pixel on my ripened 15 lcd monitor it just stayed green. its worse on plasma they can suffer burn out aswell. i only just bought a samsung 32' hd ready lcd tv n said not to quit still images on the peak for too long !
To anser your question, any LCD display eyeshade, eg. computers, etc. MIGHT possibly develop dead pixels latter down the line. but consequently again - THEY MAY NEVER GO DEAD over many, heaps years of usage. Impossible to predict when & how badly it would deteriorate. It's without doubt possible, but not guaranteed that over the years pixels will die. but remember, that ALL ELECTRONICS INSTRUMENTS are not built to LAST FOREVER, and this goes for adjectives of them, not only LCD display TVs. Much depends on how intensively you use them, and other variables, heat, humidity, etc. LCD display screens are still a relatively brand new product, they need DECADES of usage to evaluate what you asked nearly more precisely. but I wouldn't let this deter me. New technology are CONSTANTLY BEING introduced to the market. by the time your pixels die, something fabulous might be the alien modality of TVs & you might forget about LCDs entirely.
