= If ur monitor is an behind the times CRT, then it is most plausible that it uses the Analog (D-Sub) connection to the computer, and u won't inevitability any other connection.



= If ur monitor is a clean LCD, then u'll involve the DVI connection and no other



= If ur monitor have a very wide open screen, and is proficient to view picture from two sources, consequently you could connect both jacks to your computer, and work with two desktops and a doubled desktop nouns on your computer using the "Multi-Monitor" Technology...

Yes DVI cables simply give you HD picture and the AV cable give you audio
If you hold only one monitor afterwards connect only one cable. DVI is preferred.
