This is the most stupid question i've see yet. How slothful is this person that can't even sit at his or her computer and push a button near their finger. This has to be the laziest personality I've ever come across. But as people attain lazier someone will eventually make one to suit this party and others.
buy a wireless keyboard :D they own a power button etc.. ATI ALL-IN-WONDER cards have remote controls. You can even hook up cable and scrutinize TV.... Capture video, JPGs, Input and output video.
There are many reason why a person would want to turn on their PC using a remote, non of which include person lazy. The most frequent motivation is that person is using their computer as an HTPC and want the computer to boot directly into TV. Do you typically get up sour your a** ncpeterpan to turn the TV on or do you use the remote. I think we adjectives know the answer to that.
