distorted colour on my LCD whenever i plug contained by my vga but it allows me to dualview. currently using a nvidia 6800GT graphics card with s-video out.
colour subsidise to normal when i use dvi to vga converter but it simply allow single display on my setting.

Well, either your LCD or your video card don't close to DualView. The only workaround I can of is using one of these: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/... That approach, your LCD and your 6800GT will think you've one and only got one video output. Of course, you won't be capable of have split peak that way.
repress: Have you tried using another version of the nVidia driver?
You could also own a loose or bent pin on your VGA connector.
